World Book Day 2024 Competition Results

This year for World Book Day, we ran a competition to create your own book scene. Students could represent a famous moment from a book in art form, bake something or as a piece of Drama.

We had many amazing entries, but the KS4 winner was Maggie B (Y11) for her Alice in Wonderland artwork. As we had so many entries for KS3, the Y10 book club struggled to choose an outright winner, so we gave three prizes out:

1st place: Ria A Y8 - The Hungry Caterpillar model
2nd place: Hanya N Y8 - Percy Jackson sculpture
3rd place: Bella U Y8 - Escape Room Digital Art piece

The winners won book vouchers, books and bookmarks. Thank you to everyone who entered - a lot of time and care had been put into entries and there are some very talented creatives in the school!
