Yr 7 Brilliant Club Launch

On Monday 23rd January, our Year 7 Brilliant Club students attended their launch day at Leeds University with Mrs Kirke & Miss Parker.

They got the opportunity to sit though and participate in research lectures, tour the university, enjoy the delicious food and ask current students lots of questions.

On Wednesday, the group attended their first of five tutorial sessions in school with their PHD tutor Cat. Cat will be teaching them all about literary theory in preparation for their qualification.

Mrs Kirke said the group behaved impeccably on the trip and have already been working really hard on their university-style assignments - well done everyone, we look forward to reading your dissertations!
